This is an important document which set out the CPD scheme requirements and regulations. You are advised to read this document thoroughly and retain it for reference during the CPD year.

From 2010, all members are required to complete 20 CPD hours each year of which at least 14 must be formal hours (the balance of 6 hours, as before, can be all formal, all informal or a mix of both).

Therefore, the CPD scheme will no longer run in three-year cycles. Any surplus hours accumulated in one year may NOT be carried into the following year(s). See the CPD Guidelines for further information.
